Trisha wins her third FlimFare award!!

Trisha Krishnan has won the Filmfare award for Best actress for her performance in "Aadavari maatalaku arthale verule". This is Trisha Third flimfare award overall and her second in the best actress category. Trisha's first best actress award was for her performace in Prabhu deva directed "Nu Vostanante...". This shows the dominance Trisha has been having over the south industry for sometime now.

Trisha was visibly very happy. She looked beautiful and vibrant in her red dress.

One of the Telugu Film Industry’s hottest on screen couple Prabhas and Trisha krishnan will once again set the screen on fire in producer Editor Mohan’s next film. To be directed by Raja, of Hanuman Junction fame, this big budget pot boiler is set to be launched in 2009 after Prabhas completes work for his home production Raju. Following Editor Mohan’s film Prabhas will begin shooting for the S.S. Rajamouli directed flick that is set to take off in the later half of 2009.

Trisha for her part is also busy now with many movies in tamil like Chennayil oru mazhai kalam, abhiyum nanum, Sarvam. Trishaa is also acting along with Nagarjuna for the first time in telugu in a movie titled KING.

With Bujjigadu being a declared a hit this pairing of Trisha and Prabhas becomes the most successful on screen pair in Telugu industry. So the expectations would really be very high.
After the success of the Telugu blockbuster Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule, the lucky pair Venkatesh and Trisha will soon be seen again in a new movie. It has been confirmed by sources that Trisha has signed for this movie opposite Venkatesh. Recently, Trisha won her third flimfare for her performance in Adavari. Other details about the movie including its name and crew are yet to be finalised.

Venkatesh is presently busy with his latest film Chintakayala Ravi; Trisha is busy with her Telugu flick King where she pairs with Nagarjuna. In Tamil, Trisha is busy with three films -- Abhiyum Naanum, Chennaiyil Oru Mazhai Kaalam and Sarvam.

While explaining why she refused to act in a Kannada film which she had earlier accepted, Trisha said during an interview that she could not do that film because of date constraints. The news that she accepted it first and then refused it because of her fee is a baseless rumour, she said.

Vijay and Trisha were shooting for Perarasu's new film "MGR". Gotcha... you thought this is another film with Vijay and Trisha in the lead ryt... NO.. They were doing a guest appearance for Vijay's father S.A.Chandrasekar new film "Pandhayam".

S.A. Chandrasekar’s directorial venture Pandhayam has both Vijay and Trisha in guest role. This scene was shot recently at the Pushpa Gardens in Chennai. Illyathalapathi and Trisha Krishnan will be donning their real-life characters in Pandhayam. The scene filmed was a shooting sequence, which was directed by Perarasu. Since Trisha Krishnan and Vijay are close frnds in real life, when approached Trisha readily accpeted for this offer. Though the scenes with Vijay were shot, thise with Trisha Krishnan are yet to be shot as she is busy in Hyderabad right now. But will be shot soon says the confident director. S.A.Chandrasekar wants to cash in on the Fame and success of Trisha-Vijay on screen chemistry. Trisha was last seen with Illayathalapathy in their latest hit "Kuruvi" directed by Dharani.

According to the director, Pandhayam’s hero Nithin Sathya is a die-hard fan of Vijay and he comes over to see the film’s shooting with his fans. Another interesting feature is that Megna has been roped for a dance sequence in Pandhayam.
The star cast in Pandhayam includes Prakash Raj and Sindhu Dulhani. Vijay Anthony has scored the music. However, this is not the first time Vijay does a cameo for his dad. He was earlier roped in by S.A. Chandrasekar for his film Sukran. Sukran didnt quite work out well for both Vijay and S.A but lets hope the inclusion of angel Trisha changes their fortune. :)

With Vaaranam Ayiram shooting scheduled to end, its director Gautam wants to complete "Chennayil Oru Mazhai Kaalam" which he left half way through to accommodate the dates of surya. Chennayil oru mazhai kaalam or simply COMK as the youth like to call it, is one of the most hyped films for various reasons. Trisha acting along with new faces as a call centre girl, her urban look in the movie and also this movie marks the combination of A.R.Rahman and Gautam for the first time leaving fans wondering how this is gonna be. Gautam wants to resume the shooting for this movie in the middle of August subject to the availability of Trisha and the big wait will be for Trisha. Will she be able to make it?? Yes, says Trisha. according to her she will finish her projects in the mean time and will be ready for the resumption of CMOK. Trisha says, CMOK is a project which is very close to her heart.

A catfight has erupted in Kollywood between two leading ladies – the numero uno heroine Nayanthara and her biggest competitor Trisha.

When it comes to asserting the supremacy at the top and battling it out for the top slot, our heroines are not far behind. Catfights and back biting are not something new to Kollywood, though it is not written about or discussed in public.

Trisha was ruling the tinsel town, till Nayanthara after her dare-bare bikini act in Billa walked away with the crown. And overnight from nowhere Nayan emerged as the most sought-after girl who even commanded an opening for a film. With her glamorous screen presence and right attitude she bagged films with big banners and top heroes. It seemed that she had it in her to displace the irreplaceable Trisha from the top.

Time for a quick flashback. Before Billa happened Nayanthara and Trisha had warmed up to each other and used to regularly party in Hyderabad and Chennai as both were busy doing Tamil and Telugu films. They had something in common, their deep rooted hatred for Asin, who was then ruling Kollywood. Nayan always had a pathological hatred for Asin as she feels that the Kochi girl was responsible for reducing her to an item girl in Ghajini. Trisha on the other hand found Asin to be a major threat, as she was getting more advertisement endorsements, and she also managed to get a break in an Aamir Khan film. Remember at one time Trisha was desperate to get into Bollywood? Her mentor ace director Priyadarshan after promising her a role in Bhool Bhulaiya, at the last minute replaced her with Vidya Balan.

However by the fag end of 2007, equations changed after Asin shifted lock, stock and barrel to Mumbai to pursue her Bollywood dreams. Both the girls were very happy with Asin’s exit from the scene and they partied hard and had a lot of mutual high-flying friends. The first seeds of mistrust in their relationship happened over Kuruvi heroine’s role. Trisha who was the first choice of the director was shocked to know when Nayan made a statement that she was signed up. And in a sudden twist, Trisha came back to the project and mutual friends stepped in, where matters were amicably settled. After a few weeks of uneasy calm, Trisha felt that Nayan was getting too close to one of her favourite heroes. Nayan also got an uneasy feeling that Trisha was marshalling her enemies together.

During this time Nayan was doing the Tamil remake of a Trisha super hit in Telugu, and among the gang they made fun of her that she could not act. The film released and turned out to be a super hit in Tamil also, and Nayan had the last laugh! The last straw on the proverbial camel’s back was when Nayan was unceremoniously dropped from being the brand ambassador of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL tournament. She saw a deep rooted conspiracy behind her sacking and blamed Trisha for it.


Poor Trisha, who was away on a foreign shoot at that time, denied that she had used her influence to humble her rival.
Back to present. Today Trisha and Nayan are bitter towards each other. Recently Nayan was supposed to be the chief guest at mutual friend and designer SS Sidney's Spring Summer 2008 Collections. But when she came to know that Trisha was walking the ramp, she dropped out at the last minute.

At the Filmfare function and later at the party, they ignored each other. And to rub it in, last week, Nayan also looked through Shriya and Reema Sen who were staying in the same hotel while Trisha threw a big party after winning the Filmfare award for which she did not invite her former friend. Vishal, who once claimed that he was madly in love with Nayan during the making of Sathyam, is said to be the new flavour in Trisha's life.

The actress however dismisses the hunk's sudden closeness to Trisha as nothing more than a ploy to worm her way into his next film. The catfight, it seems, is not going to end anytime soon. Not till a new cat walks away with the crown!

Trisha had pulled out of the tamil remake of hindi super hit "Jab We Met" because she was busy and she cudn't allot dates. So after that, the heroine role were offered to many heroines, few came up voluntarily to take up the role but nobody quite worked out. It is learnt that the producer Moserbaer is not satisfied with anyone. But atlast they were satisfied that Tamana could handle the role and fixed her. Tamana, unfortunately, has pulled out in the last minute. Now the producers are back to ground zero approaching Trisha krishnan to sign the movie and it is learnt that Trisha is considering it seriously.

In the meanwhile the movies hero has seen a fair amount of twist and turns too. From maddy to siddarth to Karthi, everyone were approached but it has finally been decided that Barath would be the hero. If things goes off well, we could very well see Trisha and barath in the screen for the first time together. Karu Palaniappan will be directing the movie.

SARVAM SHOOTING INTERRUPTED BY CHENNAI POLICE

Sarvam’s shooting was interrupted yesterday when director Vishnu Vardhan was asked to vacate the Elliots Beach premises with his crew. Sarvam’s shoot was scheduled to be conducted on the beach yesterday and as soon as the equipments and the crew landed at the spot, curiosity got the more out of the onlookers who start to throng the place in huge numbers.

Soon, Adyar Assistant Commissioner Senthil Kumar reached the spot and requested Vishnu and the crew to clear the spot pointing out the existing rule that it is prohibited to conduct cinema shootings in Chennai during days. The crew, including Trisha,Vishnu and Arya left the place soon after with the equipments.

The Assistant Commissioner mentioned that Sarvam’s crew was permitted to conduct shoots only during the night. He also said that the crew was asked to leave fearing a stampede in the public.
