HOT TRISHA AND PRIYANKA CHOPRA

Trisha hasn’t been having the best of the year so far; both her films ‘Bheema’ and ‘Kuruvi’ have not fared well at the box-office. The actress, however, has a lot to look forward to in ‘Abhiyum Naanum’, in which she has got a meaty role to play. The movie is ready for release and slated to be a Deepavali release.
Trisha has also been doing Gautham Menon’s ‘Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikkalam’. To top it all, she has got the biggest break of her career so far, as she has been signed by none other than Kamal Haasan for his ‘Marmayogi’, the shooting of which is expected to begin shortly. She is also doing ‘Sarvam’, opposite Arya besides having a host of Telugu films in her kitty.
One of the main reasons critics attributed to the failure of ‘Bheema’ was its unusual climax in which both the hero and heroine (Vikram and Trisha) get killed. Many of Trisha’s fans didn’t like her to ‘die’ on-screen and even her mother didn’t seem to like the idea of watching her daughter ‘die’ on-screen. At that time, Trisha reportedly had assured her mother and her fans that she would ensure that such an ‘ending’ doesn’t figure in her future projects.
Now, one hears that in ‘Sarvam’ too, in which Trisha stars opposite Arya, director Vishnuvardhan has set the climax is such a way that ultimately Trisha’s character dies. Trisha plays a medical college student in the film and reportedly confides to her close circle of friends and well-wishers that only recently did she come to know about the ‘end’ of her character in the film.

Trisha received the Best Achievement Award (south) at a private party hosted by TAG Heuer in Hyderabad.

The highlight of the evening was the coming together of Trisha and the brand ambassador of TAG, Priyanka Chopra on stage.

The function and party happened in Dublin pub at Kakatiya Sheraton and both the glam girls Trisha and Priyanka were seen together throughout as they even walked the ramp for the select audiences.

Priyanka gave away the TAG Heuer Achievement Award including a very expensive TAG watch to Trisha.

An elated Trisha told Sify.com:Actually Priyanka and I went nostalgic after we walked the ramp as both of us were models before we came into films and we chatted up a lot?. Both the girls were accompanied by their proud mothers at the event who were happy to see their star daughters getting all the cheers as they walked the ramp.

Priyanka for her part said that she really likes Tamil films a lot and rates Trisha very high as an actress. She also said that she is open to act in tamil films again.

There has been a lot of speculation shrouding Kamal Haasan's 'Marma Yogi' of late with special emphasis to the female lead of the film.

It was first reported that Kamal Haasan who directs the film was quite keen in casting Kajol, but then the actress could not make herself available due to various reasons. Then attention was turned towards Shriya Saran and Padmapriya. It is now confirmed that these actresses have nothing to do with the film.

The latest news is that Trisha would be paring Kamal Haasan. However, it has been confirmed that the only actress to have signed on the dotted line is Jayapradha who would be playing quite a prominent role.

We'll have to wait and see if Trisha's involvement with the project holds water or not. Certain sources claim that Trisha has okayed a 100-day call sheet for the 'Marma Yogi' and that she's looking forward to acting with Kamal Haasan.

Close circles around Trisha have always maintained that Trisha has a sweet voice and that she can sing well. However the actress herself has not spoken much about it.

Trisha is a fervent fan of A. R. Rahman and her hidden talent might just surface soon. Reports suggest that she has been approached to sing a song in the Telugu film 'Raja' in which she stars too.

'I can't reveal more at this point as nothing is official as of yet' says the actress who has been making waves in the Telugu film industry. 'One of my longtime dreams is to sing in a Rahman song and the wish seems to be coming true now', says the actress, who is donning the role of a singer in the film.

Pinning hopes on 'Raja', Trisha says, 'this is the first time I am acting in the role of a singer. Since I can croon well, I feel it could be quite easy to don the character.'
