SEXY SREYA ON THEMARMAYOGI SHOOTING SETS

The makers of the film 'Abhiyum Naanum' have come up with a novel way to promote the film that delves into the beautiful relationship between a father and daughter played by Prakash Raj and Trisha.

A painting competition titled 'Dad and I' is to be held in Chennai and Coimbatore inviting boys and girls between the ages 4 and 14.

The participants will be asked to paint creative pictures about their relationships with their respective dads. Wonderful talent would really be on display here.

The winner of the competition would be felicitated with two Kingfisher Airline tickets to Goa for a holiday. Moreover the drawing would be showcased as part of the movie posters crediting the child. Reports also suggest that 20 surprise spot-prices will be given away. The rest of the paintings would be gifted to the respective dads for them to cherish.

The concepts and designing activities is done by EM & C.

Meanwhile, the audio release function for 'Abhiyum Naanum' will happen on the 27th of September. Chief Minister Karunanidhi along with his daughter Kanimozhi will launch the CDs and cassettes.

Kamal Haasan’s Marmayogi, which was scheduled for an early September launch has been postponed by a month. The movie will be launched in Mumbai on October 18 but the shooting will begin on September 25 itself. Kamal is both scripting and directing the movie in which he plays the protagonist, while Trisha plays the female lead.

The movie is said to have two other heroines, with Shriya playing the second heroine. The look out for the third heroine is on, and it is said that Padmapriya is being considered for the role.Hemamalini, who plays a negative role in the movie, has also been finalised and it is now confirmed that talks are on with Amitabh Bachchan for him to feature in an important role in the movie.The shooting will began at Sedhusamudhram Falls.Marmayogi is said to be shot in the backdrop of the seventh century. Apparently the different heroines of the film will appear at different points in the movie. Music for Marmayogi is by AR Rahman and two songs have already been completed.The movie is said to be shot on the trot, with bulk dates being given by both heroines.Shriya, who has just returned from Bangkok after shooting for Jaggubhai, and Trisha, who is working on Sarvam, will also be part of the photo shoot of the movie which is currently being held in the city. Marmayogi is produced jointly by Raajkamal Films and Pyramid Saimira

Not many know that Ganesh Venkataraman, who plays the Romantic lead opposite Trisha in the Moaserbaer film Abhiyum Naanum is a former Gladrags Mr India. Everyone knows that Trisha was a former Miss Chennai. So the two bonded very well during the making of film, recounting their modeling days. Both are fitness freaks as well and had a lot to discuss post shoot.

Trisha is the top heroine of Tamil and Telugu films currently, so playing the hero opposite her is obviously a great start for Ganesh. The buzz is that the chemistry between the lead pair is something to look out for in the film. Quiz Ganesh on the kind of films he would like to do he says "Well people tell me that the Romantic Hero image goes very well with me, Personally I want to experiment with all kind of roles, I am well trained in Martial arts so action films are also on the agenda".

The story and Ganesh's character have been kept a well guarded secret so far. After Mozhi the expectations with Abhiyum Naanum are also very high. So we will wait and watch this 'new pair' in Kollywood sizzle on Screen. in the meantime, the buzz is on about Ganesh being shortlisted for a big banner flick. looks like we will see the Bollywood silver screen presence of this young hero soon.
